Course 1: Post-Graduate Program in Management (PGP)
Students are offered subjects from the areas of economics, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, operations, and general management.
Duration: 2-year | Full-time
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree holder with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
Selection Criteria:
Valid score of CAT for Indian and GMAT score for overseas candidates are necessary to take admission in IIM Shillong. This will be followed by GD and PI.
Course 2: Post-Graduate Program for Executives (PGPex)
This program acquaints students with proper management knowledge and skills. Areas like Finance and Accounting, Information Systems, Marketing, Operations & Quantitative Technique, Human Resources are offered.
Duration: 1-year
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree holder in any discipline.
Work Experience: 5 years
Selection Criteria:
Students need to produce a valid score of GMAT/CAT. A personal interview will also take place for final selection.
Course 3: Doctoral Program in Management (Ph.D.)
Fellowships awarded in the following fields: economics, finance, HR, information systems, marketing, and operations management.
Duration:4-year | Full-time
Eligibility: Masters’ degree with 60% marks for General, 55% engineering students, 50% Non-Engineering students. (OR) Graduate with qualifications of CA, ICWA, and CS.
Work Experience: 5 years for Masters’ degree holders.
Selection Criteria:
GMAT/GRE/CAT/JRF/UGC/NET scores which will be followed by an interview.
Course 4: Management Development Programme (MDP)
These are short duration programs varying from two days to six months, for working executives from the industry, education, and government sectors held both on- and off-campus.
Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline and proficiency in English.

IIM Shillong Scholarships
The Institute assists the students in getting educational loans from banks during the admission process. They believe that no candidate should be denied the opportunity to pursue the Post Graduate Program. For this, IIM Shillong has a provision for the Need-Based Financial Assistance Scheme to help the economically weak student studying in PGP.
Apart from this, the Fellow Program in Management which can be pursued in Economics, Marketing, and other disciplines is one where students are provided stipends and fellowships.
- For the first year, a student will be given INR 20,000, for second and third year INR 25,000 and for the fourth year, INR 30,000
- An additional stipend of INR 5,000 will be paid to students for the academic duty assigned up to 10 hours in a week.
- Students who will be teaching full 30 credits courses will be given an additional stipend of INR 7,000
In addition to this, there are scholarships available for SC/ST/PwD students as per the norms laid by the Government of India.

IIM Shillong Facilities
The Insitute is currently functioning in a temporary campus in Mayurbhanj Complex. However, the work for the permanent campus has been commenced. Following are some of the facilities offered by the Institute:
Campus Facilities: The main buildings of the Institute compromises of administrative offices, faculty offices, classrooms, library and conference halls. Apart from this, there are well-furnished guest houses that provide stay for visiting faculty and guests.
Library: IIM Shillong has one of the most modern and tech libraries in the country. It is equipped with the latest E-books, magazines, e-books, journals at both national and international levels.
Hostels: There are both single and double rooms available for students in hostels. All the basic amenities are being provided which includes study table, common room, mess, gymnasium, room heater, internet facility, etc.
Classrooms: They are equipped with high tech infrastructure to help the students learn in a better way. The classes are also provided with high-speed wireless internet connectivity, videoconferencing, microphone facilities, etc.
