5 NMAT Exam Windows: Division of Dates
There are 5 NMAT windows in 2020 beginning from October 6 to December 19, 2020. They cover all the exam 2020 important dates. This system is determined on the basis of declaration of NMAT result for each window. The five windows are:
NMAT Window 1: October 6 to October 18, 2020
It is recommended to appear in latter part of this window as you are well aware by this time how has been the NMAT paper pattern
NMAT Window 2: October 19 to November 2, 2020
Your NMAT window 1 result is out now, you can decide whether to re-take the exam now. Better to take NMAT towards the end of the window
NMAT Window 3: November 3 to November 19, 2020
Most candidates targeting top IIMs and appearing in CAT 2020 may not prefer this window. If you appear/retake NMAT now, you may expect a very good percentile as fewer candidates are there and most of them are not top students
NMAT Window 4: November 18 to December 2, 2020
Two prominent exams CAT 2020 and IIFT 2021 lie in the 4th NMAT window. Very few candidates are expected to appear in this window 4 and would prefer window 5.
NMAT Window 5: December 3 to December 19, 2020
It will be better to appear in NMAT Window 5 towards the end of it as by this time the clarity on NMAT last leg paper pattern can be understood and after appearing in other exams, you are well prepared to take NMAT by then
