NIRF Rankings 2020 list of top universities in India 2020 were released by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) on June 11 at 12 pm. According to the ranking report, the three top universities in India are IISc Bangalore, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and Banaras Hindu University (BHU). All these three universities have managed to retain their respective ranks for the past five years.
There are some new universities in this list whose debut in the list of top universities in India 2020 list according to nirf ranking 2020, and Punjabi University have made debut among the top universities in India listing 2020. NIRF Ranking Parameters of Universities
Top universities in India list decided by NIRF ranks universities each year on the basis of few parameters. Each parameter has a certain weightage and universities are evaluated out of a total score of 500. Given below are the NIRF ranking parameters along with assigned weightage for each parameter:
